We bought this about a month ago for our son because the air was getting dry in the room during the winter months with the heat on.
It's small, lightweight and easy to use. Filling it is pretty easy, and although some complained about the cap being hard to twist on and off, i like the fact that it's a snug fit-it gives me confidence that it wont come off or leak. Im sure it will loosen a bit with age and use, but the rubber gasket in there keeps it nice and watertight.
Its simple controls (Off, Slow, Fast) makes it easy to use. The Slow speed is hardly audible, and the Fast speed, although a little noisier, is still very quiet and provides some nice white noise to help you fall asleep if thats your thing. Depending on the speed, it will last a 18hr night or more per refill.
I actually used the box it came in placed vertically on the floor to help elevate it and aim it towards our son's bed. Not very attractive, but it works. We've had no leaking or puddles at all, and have been using it nearly nightly for the entire time we've had it. We even stole it a few times to bring into our room. If we get a second, i wont mind getting another of the same model.
4 stars only because we havent had it that long. Hoping it wll last a long time.

I bought this product not just for the humdifier portion, but for the soothing noise that it makes--my husband snores, and this is just the right frequency and volume to drown it out! Better than a wave machine..

I've had this unit for over a year, and have used it several times, hoping each time that it would work well. It is very easy to use, with 2 settings, low and high. The main problem is that it does not seem to humidify the air too well, and the change is not noticeable to me or my wife. This might work OK in a small room. We've had warm mist humidifiers in the past, whose humidifying abilities were more obvious. This is the first cool mist humidifier we've purchased, and I am not impressed. I had the unit on high all day yesterday and it took all that time for the water reservoir (which was 3/4 full at start) to empty. That is NOT nearly enough dissipation volume to create any significant humidity changes in a typical room. In addition, I could not find any retailer that sells filters for this unit!
